2023 KIRD–SeoulTech semiconductor design training: second session

The second 2023 KIRD–SeoulTech semiconductor design training session comprised two weeks of practical instruction.

Week 1, July 31–August 4: voltage-controlled oscillator and low-phase-error variable-gain amplifier design, taught by Professor In-Young Lee of Chosun University. Topics included schematic and layout design of VCOs and VGAs using Cadence Virtuoso.

Week 2, August 7–11: applications using digital microprocessors, taught by Professor Jong-Pil Hong of Chungbuk National University. Students used AVR microprocessor kits for programming and hardware exercises.
